Immunisation clinics

What it does

The Immunise Australia Program implements the National Immunisation Program (NIP) Schedule, which currently includes vaccines against a total of 16 diseases.

State and territory governments are responsible for the distribution of vaccines to immunisation providers. Vaccines are delivered through primary care services such as general practitioners, immunisation clinics, Aboriginal Medical Services or school based immunisation programs.

To find out your local immunisation provider, contact your state or territory health department.
